On February 21, 2014 the third annual Modern Masters lecture will focus on Arthur Troutner. Troutner was an architect, inventor, industrial designer, patron of the arts and co-founder of Truss-Joist International. Mr. Troutner died in 2001, so Nels Reese will be stepping in to tell the story of his work. Reese is an architecture professor emeritus at University of Idaho and also worked for Art Troutner.
The event will take place at the Idaho Transportation Department auditorium, beginning at 7pm and will consist of a lecture by Nels Reese with a slideshow covering Mr. Troutner's most important Idaho buildings. The talk will be followed by a dessert reception.
